Capiz National High School will once again be part of Brigada Eskwela on May 21 - 26, 2012. If you have the time and resources you are a welcomed volunteer.
It takes a village to educate a child. YOU are part of this village who can work wonders for our students. Adopt Capiz National High School by giving your precious time and available resources during our Brigada Eskwela Week. One small effort can create a mountain of accomplishments.
Your humble partner, your Brigada Eskwela Coordinator for Capiz NHS, is waiting for your response.
A big, big HUG and a whole-hearted 'THANK YOU' for your support.
What seemed to be a simple clean-up day became a festive occasion for Brigada Eskwela (Day 1) at Capiz National High School. Thank you to all the volunteers : Hon. Alfredo Alabaladejo & Tiza Barangay Council, Magulang-PSEP of Barangay Tiza, Rotaract of Roxas City, Senior Red Cross Volunteers, Capiz NHS SSG, Mr. Edwin Borja. PTCA President, Mr. Diozen Alquizada & his Band, PNP Traffic Auxiliary, Dep-Ed Capiz Division Monitoring Team (Dr. Salvador Ochavo, Dr. Fe Bañez, Mr. Wilfredo Reoyo) Mr. Nestor dela Cruz, Mrs. Delia Obienda, Steering and Working Committee Members of BE 2012, the alumni, CNHS Admin staff and personnel, and my fellow teachers. SALAMAT GID NGA MADAMO. May YOU CONTINUE HELPING 'til the end of BE 2012.
AS THE WORK INCREASES, THE ENTHUSIASM HEIGHTENS. On the second day of Brigada Eskwela, though the work of giving Capiz NHS a makeover for the opening of classes becomes more laborious, the spirit of volunteerism heightens. More work has been done, more hands come to help. BE then becomes more of a fun activity rather than work. Thank you to all volunteers. Aja!
Day 3 of the Brigada Eskwela : The spirit of volunteerism lives on. We are very happy for the unexpected participation of the group from UNTv of Kuya Daniel Razon and "Dating Daan" of Bro. Eli Soriano. Theirs was an earnest motive of doing their share in the community.
We also appreciate the help from the team of SPO1 Jinkie Avelino of the Roxas City Police Station for painting our stairs. Our salute to you Cops.
Brigada Eskwela Day 4 - It is Parents, Teachers and SSTC Day for Brigada Eskwela at Capiz NHS. Aside from the the usual batch of students rendering service, a group of parents, teachers and the SSTC family have come to do their share in the BE. It is so heartwarming to see a lot of people extending resources and services in preparation for the opening of classes. Thank you also for the "wet-wet" served as pamahaw. Hats off to all of you.
Brigada Eskwela (Day 5) – It’s Gov’s Day. Capiz National High School is fortunate enough to have the presence of Hon. Victor Tanco, Jr., Province of Capiz Governor for the blessing and inauguration of the canopy which he has donated to the school. The donation was made possible through the effort of the father and son tandem of Mr. Marlon Buhat, CNHS - PTCA Vice-President and Jude Buhat, President of the Lab Detective’s Club. Plastic chairs were also turned over as donation of the parents and students of the SSTC. The Senior Red Cross Volunteers had also their second round of Brigada Eskwela.
Brigada Eskwela (Day 6) - After five days of tiring yet fun-filled Brigada Eskwela, volunteers deserve a break and a recognition for a job well done. A simple Closing Program was held at the lobby of the school library to mark the culmination of the Brigada Eskwela. Certificates of Recognition were given to the volunteers in appreciation of their valuable share in the Brigada.
A striking message from Sir Nestor saying “today’s culmination of the Brigada is just a beginning of a job for the good of the school. There are still more to be done”. He ended up throwing a challenge to the SSG officers to do their part well. The challenge was also well accepted. I just hope that the response will not only be a lip service but it will be transformed into laudable actions.
A turn over ceremony of the SSG Shed was done after the program. This project is courtesy of the efforts two past SSG Presidents, Stephanie Palacios and Kathleen May Obienda.
THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to all who have made Brigada Eskwela 2012 in Capiz NHS a success. As I have said before, "it takes a village to educate a child." You and I are part of that village, therefore let us make our best effort to turn every school child into an educated, responsive and productive citizen of our country and the world. Our every small effort in this endeavor can create a mountain of accomplishments.
Sana hindi kayo magsasawa sa pagsuporta sa mga proyekto ng isang prestihiyosong paaralan katulad ng Capiz NHS.
